Summer Tour to Norway, June 2-9, 2012

Celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the Hadeland Glassverk & Porsgrund Porcelain Factory. See the famous glassware being manufactured and observe the glassblowers in action. On site store also sells the famous "Farmer's Rose" and "Nisse" porcelain. The tour also includes a special slice of Norway: Blåfargeværket (home of the cobalt blue used in glassware and china), Th. Kittelsen museum (the creator of drawings and paintings of trolls and illustrations for Norwegian children's stories) and a visit to Oslo, "city on the fjord," home of the Viking ships, Fram museum, Nobel Peace Prize and Munch, as well as Holmenkollen Ski Jump and Vigeland Park.
