Trillium Tours, LLC. Terms and Conditions

Reservations:

It is recommended that you make your reservation as soon as possible.  To make a reservation, please complete registration form and mail deposit of $500 per person to address on registration form.  The final balance is due 60 days prior to departure.  Checks and money orders are accepted as payment.  In the case of a billing error, Trillium Tours, LLC. reserves the right to amend the invoice with correct pricing.

Passports and Visas:

It is the responsibility of each passenger to obtain proper travel documents, such as passport and visa.  The passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the conclusion of the tour.  A visa is not required in Scandinavia for trips shorter than 3 months.  It is imperative that your airline ticket matches your first and last name exactly as they appear in your passport. Any changes to your air booking, including spelling error corrections, could be subject to change fees and penalties or cancellation.

Cancellations:

All cancellations must be in writing, and the effective date of any cancellation will be the date the cancellation request is received.  Cancellation fees (per person) are as follows: More than 60 days prior to departure: $250.  60-31 days prior to departure: 25% of total tour cost.  30-7 days prior to departure: 50% of total tour cost plus any additional charges levied by hotels or other suppliers.  Less than 7 days, no refund will be granted.  There will be no refund for no-shows, cancellations during a tour, or for any unused portion of the tour.  Refund requests must be received no later than 30 days beyond completion of the reserved tour, or no refund will be granted.

Travel:

The tour package price reflects current airfare rates, and is subject to change.  The airlines reserve the right to assess fuel and other surcharges at their discretion.  The passenger’s contract in use by the airline, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airline and passenger.  All tours originate and return at Minneapolis-St. Paul airports.  Any additional airfare or travel cost to join the tour are the responsibility of the passenger.

Luggage:

Luggage restrictions may vary by airline and are subject to change.  Current restrictions for most international flights are two check pieces and one carry-on per person.  Trillium Tours, LLC. is not responsible for any additional fees imposed by airlines regarding baggage.  Due to space restrictions on motor coaches, we allow only one suitcase and one carry-on bag per person.  No responsibility is accepted for loss or damage to baggage or any belongings.  Baggage insurance is highly encouraged.

Meals:

Scandinavian breakfast is included at each hotel.  Other meals are provided based on your specific itinerary.  It is your responsibility to pay for any meals not included on your itinerary.

Changes to Tours:

Trillium Tours, LLC. plans all tours in great detail.  However, due to reasons outside of our control, changes or substitutions may be required to itinerary or accommodations.  Every effort is made to provide alternatives that are equal or greater in quality. 

Insurance:

Trillium Tours, LLC strongly recommends all passengers purchase travel insurance.  It is the responsibility of the passenger to ensure they are in proper health. 

Responsibility:

Trillium Tours, LLC, its agents, employees, representatives, associated companies and travel agencies through which the tour was booked, are not responsible for any damages, accidents, losses, detention, annoyance, consequential damages of any kind; delays, and expenses due to same; quarantine, strikes, force majeure, failure of any means of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled; disturbances, government actions, restrictions or regulations, discontinuance or change in transit or hotel services or schedules; and any other causes over which we have no control and which are not caused by any negligence, wrongful action or omission on the part of Trillium Tours, LLC, its agents, employees, representatives, associated companies and travel agencies.  Without limiting the above, you are hereby given notice, and you hereby understand and agree that all tickets and coupons issued, and all arrangements for transport or conveyance, or for hotel accommodations, and any other arrangements provided herein, are made only on the expressed condition that we (Trillium Tours, LLC., etc.) shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, expense, accident, delay, problem or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of any defect in any vehicle or aircraft or other means of conveyance, or through the acts, omissions or defaults of any company or person engaged in conveying the passengers herewith, or of any hotel proprietor or servant, or any other person, firm or entity, not under the direct supervision, control or employment of Trillium Tours, LLC., its agents, employees, representatives, associated companies and travel agencies. Trillium Tours, LLC. reserves the right to accept or reject any person as a tour participant, to expel any tour participant from the tour, and to make any changes in the itinerary, whenever, in the sole discretion of Trillium Tours, LLC., it deems it necessary for the comfort, convenience or safety of the tour participants.
