Drøbak has long been a favorite vacation spot for the Norwegians.  Many famous Norwegians over the years have spent time here including Knut Hamsun, Christian Krogh and Edward Munch.

The name Drøbak comes from the town’s location and means long hills. Drøbak today is considered "a pearl by the Oslofjord!"

The city has kept its old charm with narrow streets and lovely gardens around the old original homes. During the summers it is teeming with vacationers and the harbor is full of boats.

Free afternoon and then a walking tour of the town with a local guide.

A “Welcome” dinner at our hotel.
